Meet Our Team

Sam has been involved with No Foot Too Small since 2020. After he and his wife, Becca, experienced several miscarriages over the course of two years, Sam was drawn to the mission of NFTS during a deeply challenging season of their lives. The community offered hope when all felt hopeless, providing connection with others who understood their grief and reminding them they were not alone on their journey to parenthood. Today, Sam and Becca are blessed with three living children—Hayden, and twins Liam and Harper.

Sam works as a financial advisor at Guide Wealth Partners in Cedar Rapids and in his free time enjoys being outdoors, watching sports, hunting, and spending time with his family in Clear Lake during the summer months.

Brian Coller has served as a board member with No Foot Too Small since 2023. Brian is a dedicated community advocate and business leader who brings a strong blend of professional expertise, financial stewardship, and compassionate service to the NFTS Board of Directors. As a Shareholder at Honkamp, PC, Brian has built a reputation for thoughtful leadership, strategic decision‑making, and a deep commitment to the clients and communities he serves. Brian’s connection to NFTS extends beyond professional interest—it is grounded in a commitment to supporting families in grief and elevating the organization’s impact.

Brian resides in Center Point, Iowa with his family and enjoys spending time outdoors and connecting with others through meaningful service.

James Colwell has been honored to be part of No Foot Too Small since 2019, first becoming involved alongside his wife, Megan, after their family experienced loss. Through that journey, they have seen firsthand the profound impact of the organization’s support and community. James is deeply passionate about serving those most in need. As a practicing attorney and partner at Hemminger Law, he has dedicated his career to advocating for individuals facing life-changing injuries and physical or mental disabilities, ensuring their voices are heard with dignity and care. NFTS holds special meaning for James as a place where the lives of his angels, Charlotte and Colby, are lovingly honored. As a member of the Board of Directors, he is humbled to help advance the mission of walking alongside grieving families with compassion, advocacy, and hope.
While not in court, a board room, or working within the community, James is an avid outdoorsman and treasures spending time with Megan and their three living boys—Jack, Connor, and Colt. James welcomes anyone to reach out as he truly believes we are all better together!

Jenn Bleil serves on the Board of Directors for No Foot Too Small, bringing a deep commitment to people-centered leadership and community care. She is the Chief Administrative Officer at GreenState Credit Union, where she leads teams focused on culture, strategy, and organizational effectiveness. With a background spanning nonprofit service and senior leadership roles, Jenn is passionate about building environments where individuals and families can feel supported and valued. Jenn is honored to support the mission of NFTS and help ensure grieving families are met with compassion, connection, and hope.

Jenn is an active community member and proud mom of two who enjoys cooking, time at the lake, and engaging in the arts. When she’s not shuttling her kids, she’s likely volunteering and currently serves on several boards, including Women Lead Change, No Foot Too Small, ICCSD Foundation, Liberty Fund, and ChildServe Advisory Board.

Dr. Andrea Greiner has been involved with No Foot Too Small for nine years, serving as both a board member and an advocate for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. She sees this work as a way to support the families she has cared for in her obstetrics practice. She knows that families never forget the babies they have lost and those memories stay with them forever. She thinks the community that NFTS provides for families is invaluable. Professionally, she works as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician caring for women with complicated pregnancies. She is honored to contribute her time and heart to an organization that ensures no family walks this journey alone.

Dr. Greiner lives with her family and enjoys spending time watching her sons play sports, baking, knitting and exercising.

Chad Kain has served on the Board of Directors since 2022, guided by a deeply personal connection to the mission of No Foot Too Small. He serves in honor of his daughter, Wren, who earned her angel wings in 2021. Chad is committed to helping create a compassionate space where grieving families can find support, connection, and meaningful opportunities for remembrance. With nearly 25 years of professional experience in technology and strategy, he also brings valuable insight to the board as the organization works toward a strong and sustainable future.

Outside of his board duties, Chad is a proud husband and father to Crew and Abbott. He enjoys staying curious through audiobooks, golfing, and spending time in nature with his family.

Gina Olson has been involved with No Foot Too Small from the sidelines for more than a decade and has served on the Board of Directors since 2024. She is deeply committed to ensuring everyone has a voice—and that every story matters—because no matter how far along a pregnancy was, each baby was a hope, a dream, and a prayer. Gina’s connection to the mission is personal: she has experienced five pregnancy losses, giving her a profound appreciation for the support and community No Foot Too Small provides.

Professionally, Gina works in nonprofit development and is grateful to align her skills and passion in service of No Foot Too Small. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two daughters, and she loves cooking, gardening, and traveling the world.

Haley Admire has been involved with No Foot Too Small since October 2018, after receiving a fatal diagnosis during pregnancy with her son, Matthew. In the midst of profound loss, she found comfort, understanding, and community within the organization. What began as support during her own grief journey grew into a calling to walk alongside others facing similar heartbreak. Haley has served as an Angel Ambassador in both the Cedar Valley and Des Moines areas and helps lead Virtual Loss Specific Moms’ Groups: Pregnancy After Loss and Infant/NICU/SUIDS. She offers compassion, presence, and hope to families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. Haley believes deeply in the power of showing up, listening, and honoring every life—no matter how brief. She is honored to serve a mission that ensures no family walks this journey alone.

Haley lives with her husband and two daughters, has recently found herself in the throes of youth club sports, but enjoys a good thriller novel and a glass of wine when she can find the time.

Morgan Atkinson has been involved with No Foot Too Small since 2023 and lovingly stepped into the role of Angel Ambassador in 2025. After the loss of her sons—Crue through miscarriage in 2022, and Bentley shortly after birth the following year—Morgan is deeply committed to supporting this community with empathy, connection, and compassion. Crue’s and Bentley’s lives continue to shape her heart and give purpose to her work. NFTS’s mission reflects her calling to walk alongside families in their grief, offering presence, understanding, and love.

Outside of her role with NFTS, she lives with her husband, Garrett and her toddler, Hattie. Professionally, she works at Collins Aerospace and in her free time enjoys reading, hosting friends and family, serving her community, and creating spaces where others feel seen and supported. Above all, her strong faith in Jesus guides how she serves, loves, and advocates for hope in even the hardest seasons.

Lindsey Backhaus has been part of the No Foot Too Small community since 2018, finding connection and purpose through an organization that holds deep personal meaning for her family. Before she ever knew it was an organization, Lindsey and her husband chose the words “no foot too small” for their son Cohen’s headstone—what she now sees as a tender sign from their angel. Lindsey is passionate about fostering connection, especially among mothers walking similar paths, so no one feels alone in their grief. What began as a source of comfort for her has grown into a journey of healing for her entire family, offering understanding, support, and lasting relationships. She is honored to give her time and heart to NFTS, helping ensure love, remembrance, and hope remain at the center of every family’s story.

Rebecca Barnes has been part of No Foot Too Small since 2022 and serves as an Angel Ambassador with a heart for families navigating pregnancy and infant loss. Rebecca believes deeply in the power of community, compassion, and shared stories to support healing and mental health. In honor of her angel, CeCe, she strives to find purpose through the pain of loss by advocating for grieving families and ensuring no one has to walk this journey alone. Rebecca is a high school infant and child development teacher, a role that further fuels her passion for supporting children, families, and well-being through life’s most tender moments. She is truly honored to give her time and heart to an organization that holds space for celebrating, uniting and building the NFTS community.

Rebecca and her husband, Thomas, have been married for nearly 13 years and are parents to five children — Oliver, Amelia, Calvin, their angel Camila (lovingly known as CeCe), and Elaina.

Renae Black has been a part of No Foot Too Small since 2018. After experiencing profound isolation following her own loss, she is deeply committed to ensuring that no one else has to walk that path alone. Through her role as an Angel Ambassador, Renae finds meaning in offering comfort, connection, and hope to others who are grieving. It is also a tender way for her to continue mothering her son, Cael, who was stillborn at 38 weeks in 2013. This work allows her to focus her heart and mind on Cael and to lovingly share his story.

Outside of NFTS, Renae works in finance and lives with her husband and 3 living kids. When she’s not taxiing kids everywhere, Renae loves to get in the dirt to plant flowers and design landscapes. She also is an avid reader and self-proclaimed history buff.

Zach Evanovich serves as a dedicated volunteer in the Angel Ambassador role for No Foot Too Small, supporting the Dubuque Men’s Social Club. His connection to NFTS began shortly after he and his wife experienced the loss of their son, Nolan, in October 2022 — a life‑altering moment that led Zach to seek community, healing, and purpose through the organization. Zach first joined the Virtual Men’s Social Club, where he found comfort among fathers navigating similar grief. He later participated in Angels in the Outfield, an experience that inspired him to help expand support resources for grieving fathers. Zach helped to bring a Men’s Social Club to Dubuque, giving local fathers a space to share their stories, honor their children, and support one another. In his role, Zach values creating a safe, compassionate environment where fathers can openly discuss their losses, navigate major life milestones after child loss, and continue their long‑term healing journey. Zach’s commitment to service is rooted in empathy and connection, striving to ensure that no father walks the path of grief alone.

Marina Evanovich has been part of No Foot Too Small since the loss of her son, Nolan, in October 2022. Seeking connection and support in the months that followed, she began attending the Moms’ Virtual Group, where she found community, understanding, and healing. Marina and her husband were honored as the feature family in the first‑ever Dubuque Angel Invitational—a golf event overflowing with love, compassion, and the shared strength of families navigating similar losses. The experience deepened Marina’s commitment to the NFTS mission and the people it serves. In 2025, Marina became an Angel Ambassador, allowing her to support other mothers in the same way she was supported. Offering comfort, connection, and a safe space for grieving moms is both meaningful and deeply healing for Marina.

Brad Felty has proudly served as an Angel Ambassador with No Foot Too Small in 2023 and leads the Des Moines Men’s Social Club. Through this role, Brad supports fathers and families navigating pregnancy and infant loss by fostering connection, understanding, and community. This work is deeply personal to Brad, rooted in the belief that no family should walk in their grief alone. Brad and his wife, Lindsay, lost their son, Liam, to a full-term stillbirth in 2012. It was an incredibly dark season of their lives, and navigating grief felt overwhelming and isolating. NFTS showed them how to turn pain into purpose—honoring their son’s life by walking alongside other fathers and families as they navigate their own loss.

Brad has been an Angel Ambassador with No Foot Too Small since 2024. He first found NFTS after he and his wife, Josie, experienced the loss of their first child, Layne Thomas, in April 2022 at 22 weeks gestation. Brad initially became involved with NFTS through volunteering, attending local events, and supporting the annual Gala. Through this involvement, he found deep meaning in the mission and recognized a vital need for support among grieving fathers—many of whom are searching for connection with others who understand this unique journey of loss. Brad now finds purpose in building relationships with new dads and offering hope through sharing his own story.

He is a small business owner in Dubuque, Iowa, and is the proud father of two living sons who keep him joyfully busy.

Katie Kruse found her way to No Foot Too Small in 2020, drawn to a mission that deeply reflects her own story. Her daughter, Elizabeth Amy, was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 and passed away shortly after birth, an experience that shaped Katie’s commitment to supporting families facing pregnancy and infant loss. She is dedicated to walking alongside others in moments of profound grief, helping create spaces grounded in compassion, remembrance, and understanding. Katie has been instrumental in growing NFTS’s presence in Sioux City, bringing families together, raising awareness, and strengthening community connections. Through her involvement, she is honored to advance a mission rooted in hope, dignity, and the belief that no family should walk this journey alone.

Abby Luehmann has been involved with No Foot Too Small since 2020, serving in various roles including Angel Advocate, Angel Ambassador, and Event Assistant. She is a devoted educator, loss mom, and compassionate advocate for families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss. Abby is the proud mother of her angel son, AJ, who passed away shortly after birth on July 5, 2018. His life and legacy continue to shape her advocacy and volunteer work as she walks alongside others in grief with empathy, understanding, and hope.

Professionally, Abby is an elementary teacher. She lives in Cedar Falls with her husband, Adam, and two living boys, Greyson and Jude. Abby enjoys spending time with friends and family and being outside, especially on the golf course!

Jay Petersen has been actively involved with No Foot Too Small since 2021, supporting its mission to bring hope, healing, and community to families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. Professionally, he works in sales, bringing strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills to his volunteer role. As an Angel Ambassador, Jay leads both in-person and virtual Men’s Social Clubs, creating meaningful spaces for connection, support, and remembrance. He is deeply committed to supporting grieving fathers by fostering open conversations and ensuring they feel seen and understood. Through Jay’s involvement, he honors his angel, Hayes, by sharing his story and celebrating his life while helping other fathers navigate their own journeys of loss and healing.

Natalie Petersen serves as an Angel Ambassador for No Foot Too Small in the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area. Her journey with NFTS began after the loss of her son, Hayes, who was born sleeping at 33 weeks on October 11, 2020. Through her own experience with pregnancy and infant loss, Natalie understands the deep need for connection, compassion, and support during grief.

No Foot Too Small has played a meaningful role in Natalie’s healing, teaching her that grief and joy can coexist and surrounding her with a community that truly understands. She is passionate about walking alongside other families, offering the support she once needed while honoring Hayes’ life and legacy.

Natalie is also a proud mom to her living children, Grayson, Addison, and Graham, and treasures the community and friendships that continue to grow through NFTS.

Krystal has been involved with No Foot Too Small since 2021 and began serving as an Angel Ambassador in 2024. After the loss of her daughter, Karlee, to leukemia at nine months old in 2020, walking alongside other grieving families became deeply personal. Through NFTS, Krystal is honored to support families facing the unimaginable and to help create a space where grief is acknowledged, spoken openly, and met with compassion. She is passionate about ensuring families know their grief is valid and that they are never alone.

Professionally, Krystal works in an ophthalmology practice. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to audiobooks, scrapbooking, and spending time outdoors —when it’s warm out!

Katie Stedman has been involved with No Foot Too Small since 2014, serving as both a volunteer and advocate for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss as well as an Angel Ambassador for the Cedar Valley. She is deeply passionate about creating spaces of compassion, remembrance, and support for grieving parents + their families. Katie is strongly committed to connecting and helping mothers deep in their early grief as well as maintaining support much further beyond the initial days. She continues to push this mission forward in honor of her daughter, Peyton, who was born prematurely at 23 weeks in 2014, and her son, Patrick who had neural tube defects and was born into heaven in 2015.

Professionally, she is a nurse in Waterloo who works in Emergency Medicine. She feels honored to contribute her time and heart to an organization that ensures no family walks this journey alone. Katie lives with her husband and four living children and enjoys spending time outdoors, at sporting events, traveling, and a good iced coffee.

Kristine has been part of the No Foot Too Small community since 2019. What began as a way to honor her son, Theo, grew into a meaningful opportunity to serve families through volunteering as an Angel Ambassador in the Ames community and Virtual Moms’ Groups. In 2023, Kristine joined the NFTS staff. With a love for all things “data,” she focuses on systems development and data management to improve efficiency and create a thoughtful, meaningful experience for families. Being part of the NFTS team allows her to use her skills in service of a mission she is deeply passionate about.

Kristine lives with her husband, two daughters, and a small zoo of pets. She enjoys sports, hiking, crafting, and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones with family and friends.

Megan Colwell has been an active volunteer and Angel Advocate with No Foot Too Small since 2022, supporting families navigating pregnancy and infant loss. After experiencing multiple losses, including second-trimester losses of her daughter Charlotte in 2019 and her son Colby in 2023, Megan found purpose and healing through community, advocacy, and a little hope held together by grace and grit. She is deeply passionate about creating spaces where grief and joy are allowed to exist side by side, and where families feel seen, supported, and never alone. Through NFTS, Megan honors her angel children while helping other parents find connection, meaning, and moments of light even in the hardest seasons.

Professionally, Megan is a Human Resource Business Partner, focused on helping teams create talent strategy plans. She continues her presence with NFTS work alongside her husband, James—a member of the NFTS board, and their living children (Jackson, Connor, and Colton), when they aren’t busy camping, running from activity to activity, or knee deep in a new book!

Karli Cooper is an Angel Advocate with No Foot Too Small, serving families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss. After losing her son, Henry, at 20 weeks, Karli found healing and purpose through the organization and now gives back by supporting and walking alongside other loss parents. She is actively involved in sponsorships and community events in the Des Moines area, helping create meaningful spaces for remembrance, connection, and hope.

Nicole Jennett has been part of the No Foot Too Small community since 2019, first as a loss mom, then a volunteer, and now as a steadfast advocate for families navigating pregnancy and infant loss. She is deeply committed to breaking the silence around loss, believing that shared stories and authentic community can be powerful sources of healing and hope. Nicole carries this mission forward in honor of her four angels—Isaac, Mallory, Gavin, and Kaylee—whose lives continue to shape her purpose and passion. Nicole is honored to give her time and heart to an organization devoted to ensuring that no family walks this journey alone.

Outside of her advocacy work, she is an engineering consultant in the renewable fuels industry. She lives with her husband and their two living children, Olivia and Evan, and finds joy in exercise, travel, reading, and connecting with others through meaningful service.

Kirsten Radke has been involved with No Foot Too Small since 2020, serving as an Angel Advocate for families navigating pregnancy and infant loss. Her journey with NFTS began during the height of the global pandemic, a time marked by layered grief, isolation, and limited access to medical care. Experiencing loss in that environment profoundly shaped her understanding of how deeply unseen grief can be—and how essential it is to give it form, language, and community. She continues this work in honor of her daughter, Riley Louise, who was stillborn in August 2020. Both personally and professionally, Kirsten understands the impact of invisible experiences; as a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in vestibular care, she serves individuals living with conditions that are often misunderstood and unseen. This perspective reinforces her belief that putting grief into words—and into tangible forms of remembrance—fosters connection, validation, and healing. She is honored to give her time and heart to NFTS, helping ensure no family walks this journey alone.
